The courses listed below are for the primary, secondary and NGO health workforce, who are interested in gaining understanding and practical skills to work with culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) migrant and refugee patients from Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American or African backgrounds.

This course is for staff working in clinical roles. The aim of the course is to help learners understand ways to interact in a culturally competent manner with CALD patients and families. This course will increase awareness of your own cultural values, gain skills to recognise cultural differences and develop skills to apply the principles of cultural competence in practice.

This course is for customer service or non-clinical roles. The aim of this course is to increase awareness of your own cultural values and cultural values different from your own and to develop skills to apply the principles of cultural competence in your interaction with CALD clients.
