Programmes

The development of CALD cultural competencies in the health sector includes recognising culture as a determinant of health status and recognising the need for a culturally competent workforce to address issues of equity and cultural safety of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) groups. CALD cultural competence focuses on the skills, behaviours and attitudes required for working with CALD migrant and refugee communities from Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American, African and European countries.
