Trans and Non-binary Health Survey | Counting Ourselves

Counting Ourselves is an anonymous online survey about trans and non-binary people's health in Aotearoa New Zealand. The survey is designed by trans and non-binary people to collect information that aim to improve the lives of people in our communities. Anyone who identifies as transgender or non-binary aged 14 years or older, and currently living in Aotearoa New Zealand can participate in this survey. The survey is active up to 30 November 2022.

Topics in the survey include:

  • Emotional and physical health
  • Experiences accessing general and gender-affirming healthcare
  • Conversion practice experiences
  • Being indigenous, a person of colour or from an ethnic community
  • Stigma, discrimination and violence
  • Being a Deaf or disabled trans or non-binary person
  • Social support and connections (including from peers, family, whānau, cultural or other communities).
