Exciting news! Primary Health Organisations across New Zealand are eligible to access free CALD Cultural Competency Courses

CALD refers to culturally and linguistically diverse groups who are migrants and refugees from Asian, Middle Eastern, Latin American and African (MELAA) backgrounds.

eCALD® provides a range of online and face-to face training courses for the New Zealand health workforce to develop CALD cultural competencies.

All Primary Health Organisations’ workforces across New Zealand have access to free online and Auckland-based face to face “Working with CALD patients” courses from 1st January 2016.

CALD courses and resources are developed and managed by Waitemata DHB’s eCALD® Service and funded by the Ministry of Health via the Northern Regional Alliance Ltd.
