Chinese New Settlers Services Trust - Social Housing Building
The construction of the first social housing project “Pensioner Housing for Asian Seniors”, a four level building of 36 rooms, in Panmure for CNSST to help Chinese and Korean elderly people, is expected to start on 12 February 2016 and to be completed in August 2017.
Eligibility of potential tenants will be assessed by the Ministry of Social Development before tenants are referred on to the new centre.
Guest speakers at the recent sod-turning included the Minister for Ethnic Communities Hon Peseta Sam Lotu-Iiga and Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Minister for Ethnic Communities Melissa Lee.
