Welcoming Schools for Students from Refugee Backgrounds Programme

Refugees as Survivors NZ (RASNZ) have recently launched their newly funded Welcoming Schools’ initiative for schools with high numbers of students from refugee backgrounds.

RASNZ online and face-to-face training for service providers and community groups

As part of supporting the co-providers to provide responsive and culturally appropriate care for former refugees, the Refugee as Survivors NZ (RASNZ) is delivering face-to-face or webinar training for service providers and community groups in health and other sectors on a fee for service.

Improving access to general practice services for former refugees and current asylum seekers

Between October 2020 to 30 June 2021, participating general practices in the Auckland Region are offering eligible former refugees and current asylum seekers and their immediate family access to a range of either free Doctor/GP (General Practitioner) consultations or with a possible small co-payment (fee) for an extended consultation.
