Suicide Prevention Resources for Chinese People

The following videos are two culturally and linguistically appropriate multi-media resources for educating Mandarin and Cantonese-speaking Chinese communities. The videos provide information about: the phenomenon of suicide among Asians living in New Zealand; common themes in completed suicides; contributing factors; how to prevent suicide and where to find help. The emphasis in the resources is reducing mental health stigma and encouraging help-seeking behaviour.
