Safari Multicultural Playgroup Project [NGO] [Auckland Region]

The Safari Multicultural Playgroups support mothers with children under five years old, from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Alongside the playgroups the project offers mothers English classes, information and parenting workshops and connection with other service providers including health services. Mothers are encouraged to participate in play with their children while also pursuing their own personal development.

The Safari Playgroups are free for families, they provide a fun learning environment where families can play and learn together. A key focus is to help mothers become more connected with their local community and more able to help their children to become school-ready. Transport can be arranged if required from nearby suburbs.
