NZ AIDS Foundation: African Health Promotion Programme [National]


The New Zealand AIDS Foundation, African Health Promotion Programme (AHPP) is an HIV prevention programme for Africans by Africans living in Aotearoa, working together with communities to keep families safe, happy, and healthy. We are focused on preventing the transmission of HIV and providing support for people living with HIV.

Our services include:

  • the Love, Cover, Protect campaign

  • facilitating youth workshops

  • providing  ‘Train the Trainer’ programmes for community educators

  • working with religious and community leaders

  • sponsoring key community events such as independence day celebrations, sport programmes, and many more.
