Affinity Services: Muslim Mental Health Services [NGO] [Auckland & Counties Manukau Districts]

The Muslim Wellbeing Team offers mental health awareness and promotion to the Muslim community, provide support Muslim people experiencing a mental illness and also provide cultural awareness training to mental health providers on the needs of the Muslim community.

Asian Wellbeing Services (AWS) - part of Asian Family Services [NGO - National]

Asian Wellbeing Services (AWS) is part of Asian Family Services, and was established in 2016 to provide multi-lingual and culturally appropriate psychological interventions, tailor-made psycho-education and therapy workshops.

Chinese New Settlers Services Trust [NGO] [National]

The Chinese New Settlers Services Trust (CNSST) is a registered charitable trust which offers culturally and linguistically appropriate services to both Chinese new settlers and the community.

Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Education Programme [National]

The FGM Education Programme is a community based programme set up to provide improved reproductive health care services for women affected by FGM through provider training and support, and to prevent the occurrence of FGM in New Zealand through community education and health promotion.

Safari Multicultural Playgroup Project [NGO] [Auckland Region]

The Safari Multicultural Playgroups support mothers with children under five years old, from refugee and migrant backgrounds. Alongside the playgroups the project offers mothers English classes, information and parenting workshops and connection with other service providers including health services.

Sport Auckland Green Prescription [Auckland and Counties-Manukau Districts]

Green Prescription is a referral based health and wellness programme for adults 18 years and over who would like support and motivation to get active and improve their lifestyle, a free interpreter will be arranged for eligible clients who have limited or no English speaking ability for the initial consultation.
