The Muslim Wellbeing Team offers mental health awareness and promotion to the Muslim community, provide support Muslim people experiencing a mental illness and also provide cultural awareness training to mental health providers on the needs of the Muslim community.
Anxiety NZ Trust provides psychological services in both Mandarin and English.
ADHB's Asian Mental Health Service provides Asian clinical cultural consultation services as well as community health support services, working alongside the ADHB mental health teams to ensure the mainstream services are responsive to the mental health needs of Asian service users and their families.
Auckland DHB Interpreting and Translation Services provide interpreting and document translation services for Auckland DHB secondary and primary care services.
The Asian Nurse Specialist provides advice and support on diabetes self management to South Asian patients and family members and provides training to health professional in primary and secondary care sectors.
Bo Ai She is a Chinese mental health peer support organisation.
Irene Ho (MNZAC, Bachelor of Counselling, Cert in Gambling & Impulse Control Disorders) offers Cantonese and Mandarin counselling in a private capacity.
The Chinese Positive Ageing Charitable Trust provides group activities suitable for Senior Chinese 65+ years living in Auckland such as Tai chi, crafts, health talks, mah jong, outings, Chinese movies, puzzles, chess, singalongs and games.
The ADHB Transcultural Mental Health Team provides clinical services to migrant and refugee clients with significant cultural issues that impact on their ability to access mental health services, and act as a cultural consultation resource to clinical staff within the CMHC teams. Consultation is also available to the ADHB Maternal Mental Health service.
Connect Supporting Recovery is a mental health non-governmental organisation which has an Asian support team covering 15 Asian languages including: Hindi, Japanese, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese and Japanese.
Danran is a Japanese support group for seniors / older people which provides activities and creates networking opportunities.
Hindu Niwas provides accommodation to seniors, at-risk women and children, socio-economically deprived families, and respite for caregivers, international students and visitors to Auckland for people of any background.
