Asian Family Services (AFS) have produced a useful video resource giving viewers insights from Young Korean Kiwis about their life stories living in Aotearoa New Zealand. The conversation broadly covers various topics such as:

  • Intergenerational gap
  • Mental health as a teenager
  • Importance of self-esteem
  • Anti-Asian sentiments in New Zealand and overseas
  • Korean diaspora in New Zealand and navigating Korean identity
  • Sense of belonging to Aotearoa
  • Self-care and help-seeking strategies
  • Cultural competence and cultural safety
  • Gambling/Gaming/Drug addiction issues
  • Useful community resources for young Asian Kiwis, etc
