About the Chinese support service development project and how you could help [Dementia Auckland, Age Concern Auckland, and the University of Auckland]

Dementia Auckland, Age Concern Auckland & the University of Auckland have been collaborating on a proposal to develop better services to assist Chinese people living with a diagnosis of dementia, their families and support people.

They are working towards piloting a support service in a specific area of Auckland with a high population of Chinese people.  They have been looking at the Howick/Botany/Pakuranga area as an ideal place to start.

They are now at the point where they need to:

  1. consult with all stakeholders with interest in this issue
  2. stocktake services for Chinese older people to help inform them about the availability of services for older people in Auckland.

Find out how you could assist them with their project.
